The Marine Corps in Quantico,
Va., will distribute toys to underprivileged children in Northern
Virginia.
According to the Marine Toys for
Tots Foundation website, www.toysfortots.org, the primary goal of the program is to deliver, through a new toy at
Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive,
patriotic citizens.
NOVEC HELPS Executive Director Donna Snellings says, "NOVEC HELPS and the Toys
for Tots program have a similar objective: to unite members of local
communities in a common cause and contribute to making our communities better. Providing
toys is one way we can make the holidays a little brighter for less-fortunate
children in our area."
